The world's most expensive photograph
Andreas Gursky's "99 Cent 11 Dyptich" sold for $3.3 million in 2007.
It will be used for fire kindling in the post- apocalyptic age...that does not mean it is not a nice foto, just that when things get tight people will want fire kindling rather than smart ass visual commentary on consumerism.
