The origin of a name


Lionel Martin started a car manufacturing company in 1913. He used to race the Aston Hill climb, and after the war, David Brown bought the company. He used his initials DB for the series. Hence the name: Aston Martin DB 5.

The Shiv


Knives made in prisons are usually put together with only one intent: to hurt. They are imaginatively created from spoons or unlikely scraps. This one is spent razor blades wrapped in red cellophane. Viscious and honest. Not an aesthetic decision about it, yet beautiful and brutal.
