Staking a piece of virtual real estate

Well, it's time to claim my seat in the elounge. Nobody else in the world has named their blog 'Blog?' Hmm.

I thought you were calling it "Blog?", in which case it seemed this guy had the perfect title in reply:

This only solidifies a new emotion: blog anxiety! Is this age appropriate, or am I joining the way of those 'dear diary' teenagers.

I heard that the pictured Lemania wristwatch is a 'door prize' to the second unique person posting to this Blog, including the owner. Am I right? I'd like that with a black leather strap, ss buckle please.

BTW, can I post pictures here? I kind of doubt it...

Hi Alan
Doesn't look like you can in the comments section. I'll figure a way.

Hi Tony, actually I should have realized most blogs probably don't let people post pictures, or you could have a disaster on your hands if someone was wantonly posting any old picture. It's probably a protective thing. So, I doubt I can post an image directly using HTML, but I could put a link like this:

http://alanwatch.homestead.com/files/vostokMODface.jpg

BTW, when I tried to post the HTML just now, it returned this:

Your HTML cannot be accepted: Tag is not allowed:

Figured out a way. The guest poster can make it easy to click on a picture or a link using HTML, though it won't allow direct posting of the picture. Fair enough, on a private blog. The format is

[A]href="http://www.yourwebsiteorpicturelink.com">Description[/A]

The only difference is where you see a left bracket, you need to put in < and where there is a right bracket, substitute > (when I tried it here, it tried to read it as true HTML, so I had to strip them from this demo.) For where it says Description, you just type in what you want the user to click on. Like below:

Russian Clock

Excellent, thanks Alan. Great Russian clock pic, needless to say!

I did call my Guinea Pig 'Pig'.

I was also a lazy child.
