From Homeless Artist in Vienna to......
I cannot come to grips with the relationship between these two images:
1) a poor and homeless man in Vienna in 1909, sleeping in doorways, having been rejected by the Academy of Fine Arts twice, and wishing to lead the noble life of an artist.
2) a man standing triumphantly in the back of an open limo driving through the streets of Vienna, gesturing "Heil Hitler", with his army and nation taking over Austria.
Same man.

Dictator as Performance Art, do you mean?
I mean that homeless guy in 1909 was the real and twisted Hitler. But now I think of it he did put on quite a show.
