Thom Mayne's tower for Paris will be the largest in Europe, and surely destined to be a tourist destination. It's as iconic as Gehry's Guggenheim at Bilbao.

The City of Leeds is telling Paul Curtis he's breaking the Law. He's leaving large words on walls.... by selectively cleaning them. So: what is the crime? It seems that the issue is not the defacing, as it is actually cleaning, but self expression. Now he's receiving paid commissions like the X Box logo on the pavement in the top picture.
